Intro to Knife Skills & Plant Based Cooking for Fall!

Please help us welcome back Chef Patty to the Cape Fear Food & Wine Club. As we get ready for the holidays we want to make sure you are feeling confident in the kitchen with your fundamental skills.
In class you will learn how to safely use your chef knife and produce a variety of traditional French cuts that are used for everyday cooking. Together, we will prepare a delicious vegetable stew, fall sides, and a fabulous upside down pear cake for dessert!
Please bring your chef knife to class! If your knife is not sharp, please bring it at least one week prior to class for sharpening by Fred Crouch. He charges anywhere from $3-8+ per blade dependent upon maintenance needed.
