Distinguished Guest Series hosted by Chef Keith Rhodes – Welcoming Chef Jamie Davis!

We would like to officially announce a distinguished guest series hosted by Chef Keith Rhodes. Chef Rhodes has invited several talented friends and colleagues to co-present at The Seasoned Gourmet. It is Chef’s goal to create and share these memorable collaborations with all of you. This month we welcome Chef Jamie Davis of The Hackney. Here is a little about Chef Davis:

Chef Jamie Davis hails from Jacksonville, North Carolina, but grew up with a Dad in the marines, so he moved around a lot before resettling back in his home state. He started working in his first restaurant at 16 years oldĀ as a dishwasher and worked his way up through the ranks to manager by the time he was 18. He joined the army, and served in Iraq before attending culinary school in Savannah, GA. He is now the Executive Chef of The Hackney, where his connections with local fishers and love of seafood have garnered him a stellar reputation and a James Beard Best Chef Southeast Semi-finalist.

Local Strawberry Short Cake | Black Pepper & Thyme Biscuit | Whipped Cream | Macerated Strawberries with Thyme
