Sommelier Mike Summerlin is a guest favorite. He has presented hundreds of wine education classes over the years, but would like to treat guests to a food and wine experience. This evening, Mike will prepare and present five beautifully paired courses. This event will fill quickly. The menu:
1st Course Pork Soup Dumplings – Ginger laced pork with homemade chicken stock inside a hand rolled dumpling
2nd Course Mini Beef Wellington – Morsels of tender beef and pate nestled in puff pastry with a port wine dipping sauce
3rd Course Italian Chicken Sliders – Marinated chicken breast topped with chipotle brown sugar bacon, fresh mozzarella, basil and a garlic aioli inside a bacon fat seared Hawaiian bun.
4th Course Classic Texas Chili – Chucks of beef simmered in a classic tomato and chili sauce topped with green onions, tortillas and a agave sour cream.
5th Course Mexican Brownies with Brown Sugar Ice Cream – Spicy chocolate chunk loaded squares with a lush semisweet Caramel tinted ice cream.
