An Evening with Sommelier Mike Summerlin – A Five-Course Small Plate Wine Pairing
Sommelier Mike Summerlin is a guest favorite. He has presented hundreds of wine education classes over the years, but would like to treat guests to a food and wine experience. This evening, Mike will prepare and present five beautifully paired courses inspired by his time in Italy. This event will fill quickly. Menu details coming soon.
The Menu:
1st Course: Goat Cheese with Infused Olive Oil, Roast Shallots, Garlic, and Toast Points; Bubbles
2nd Course: Cream of White Asparagus Soup; Orvieto
3rd Course: Risi e Pisi A fresh pea risotto with wild mushrooms and crispy prosciutto; Pinot Noir
4th Course: Classic Cannelloni with two sauces: Bechamel Cream and Homemade Red Sauce; Valpolicella
5th Course: Italian Orange Cake with Zabaione Cream and Orange Glaze; Zinfandel
